Meet Dr. Jie Zhou

Dr. Jie Zhou earned her Bachelor of Dental Medicine in 2003 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2009 from the School and Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University, one of China's leading dental institutions. Following graduation, she served as a dentist at the Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University, where she practiced in the Departments of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for several years, developing a strong clinical foundation in comprehensive patient care.

After immigrating to Canada with her family, Dr. Zhou successfully completed Canada's rigorous dental licensing process and became licensed to practice dentistry in Ontario in 2020. Since then, she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based dental care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Zhou is a licensed member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). She is committed to lifelong learning and continually expands her knowledge to provide patients with the latest advancements in modern dentistry.

Her professional interests include Family Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Invisalign®, and Dental Implants. She believes that every treatment plan should be personalized to meet each patient's unique needs, lifestyle, and long-term oral health goals.

Dr. Zhou believes that outstanding dentistry is built on trust, communication, and genuine relationships. She takes the time to listen carefully, explain treatment options clearly, and help every patient feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their dental journey.

As the founder of Joysmile Family Dental, Dr. Zhou's vision is to create a welcoming dental home where every patient—from young children to seniors—is treated with kindness, respect, and the same level of care she would provide for her own family.

Outside the office, Dr. Zhou enjoys staying active through sports, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and children. She believes that a healthy smile is an important part of living a happy, confident, and fulfilling life.
